IN CHRIST ALONE

Many hymns written centuries ago stand the test of time and remain favorites over generations.  Yet there are song writers in the modern day society whose inspirational pen produce hymns that move the spirits of people today.  Keith Getty and Stuart Townend are two of those contemporary hymn writers.

One of the first songs they co-wrote in 2001, is called IN CHRIST ALONE.  The original lyrics were penned by Stuart Townend and the music by Keith Getty.  The hymn is considered a Christian creedal song for belief in Jesus Christ.  The theme of the song is the life, death and resurrection of Christ outlining His purpose for coming to earth...the forgiveness of sin!  The lyrics present a powerful explanation of the Son of God who came to earth to bring eternal hope and confident faith in God!
